The business was started in 1965 as a small hobby, and became full time in 1970.

For many years, we sold only miniature roses, and later we carried a few dwarf conifers. In 1986, the business was flooded out, and we started again with miniature roses and dwarf conifers.

In 1989, there was a severe freeze, and since then, we have added and specialized in dwarf conifers, bonsai starters, and various other miniature, dwarf, and slow growing, hardy plants.

Our business is now on two acres, and generally has, in its collection, several hundred varieties of plants available at anytime of the year. The varieties change with the season and sales. We carry approximately 300,000 plants.
